Ryan Poblete

Ryan Poblete, developed a strong foundation in athletics at an early age. He played basketball for St. Thomas University, Manila, Philippines, competing throughout high school and continuing into parts of his college career. His passion for the game followed him overseas when he moved to the United States.

During his college years in the Philippines, Ryan joined a semi‑professional basketball league sponsored by LA Gear, further expanding his competitive experience. He also participated in the Northeast Filipino American NABA League, representing his community while maintaining a strong presence in the regional basketball scene.

Beyond playing, Ryan is deeply committed to giving back to the sport. In his free time, he volunteers as a coach for the Blue Eagles of Nazareth and Holy Family’s CYO program, mentoring young athletes and helping develop both their skills and character.

Outside of basketball, Ryan is an accomplished competitive shooter, earning championships in USPSA competitions, including titles in Delaware State and the Caribbean Open. He also enjoys road biking during the non‑winter season, balancing high‑intensity competition with endurance and outdoor fitness.

Through athletics, coaching, and competition across multiple disciplines, Ryan continues to exemplify dedication, versatility, and a lifelong commitment to excellence.
