Michael Petruny

Michael Petruny rejoins the Fever Family as a girls coach, after having experienced over 10 years as a Middle School and Varsity Girls High School coach and in addition, compiling over 25 years as an AAU coach in the Lehigh Valley.  At the AAU level, Mike has coached and trained players at all levels, along with participating in Regional and National AAU tournament team competition.

Mike is a Lehigh Valley native and went to Freedom High School where he played varsity basketball and baseball.  Collegiately he played baseball at East Stroudsburg University, and was the school’s first ever Academic All American in any sport.  He has an undergraduate degree in Economics, and a Master of Science degree from Louisiana State University.

Mike has a both passion for the game of basketball, and developing young athletes to help them achieve life experiences through sports participation.  He stresses the fundamentals of basketball and is keen on preparing his players to make positive contributions to their school teams at all levels through AAU participation.
