Megan Derkits

Coach Derkits has been a high school basketball coach since 2016 when she joined the Allentown Central Catholic Girls Basketball staff as a volunteer for one year before starting as a head coach of the Junior High team. Coach Derkits is an ACCHS alumni where she played basketball and volleyball. As a Vikette basketball player she won 2 Lehigh Valley Conference championships, 4 District XI championships, and was the runner up for PIAA states her sophomore year. In her 5 years as a head coach at ACCHS (3 Junior High, 2 Junior Varsity), she held a record of 69-9. She is currently the assistant varsity coach at Wilson Area High School.
