Joe Stellato

Joe Stellato is a 1989 Liberty High School graduate where he was a member of the Liberty High School 1987 District XI championship team and 1989 East Penn Conference baseball championship team. He continued his athletic career at East Stroudsburg University and received a Bachelors Degree in Health and Physical Education. Coach Stellato began his boys’ basketball coaching career at Freedom High School in 1994 where he coached both the freshman and JV teams until 1997, at which time he accepted the head coach position at East Hills Middle School.  In 2000, he took over Freedom High School’s Boys’ basketball program as the Varsity head coach, and he is heading into his 25th year in that position (longest tenured coach in the East Penn Conference).   In 2020 his Freedom squad had one of the best seasons in school history culminating in a District XI Championship.  Coach Stellato has been involved in youth athletics and recreation throughout the city of Bethlehem for the past 27 years.  Joe will be entering his 6th year with the LV Force in 2026.
